Villa Bloom is heaven! We just love to be there. The surroundings are just beautiful, the villa is perfectly decorated and the patio is so good to view sunrise and sunset. The staff is amazing, nothing is too much to ask for. Penny, Iluh, Ketut are 3 amazing ladies who will make your stay the best holiday ever. They are great in the kitchen but entertaining our children (4&11) when they want to help them in the kitchen or just go around for a walk. You only hear laughs and feel the love. You can stay the whole day at the pool or on the patio to read your book or play family games. Or let Penny arrange the driver to bring you anywhere you like. This is our 2nd visit and we are already planning for next summer. It is just the best place we have been to (and we visited a lot of countries the past 17 years living abroad) It is a place to really relax and rewind and do anything you like or do nothing at all. We are so glad we found villa Bloom last year and the story of Tom and Inge how they set up villa Bloom is inspiring. You have to try it and Iam sure you will return! Together with our 2 children (4 months and 2 years old) and my parents in law we stayed in Villa Bloom for a week. The place is just perfect with kids! Everything is there: baby cot, kids chair, toys, big garden, a small slide and an amazing manager who loves kids and cooks healthy dinners for them, sterilizes bottles if needed and is happy to babysit in the evening. My kids adored Penny and I felt very comfortable leaving them with her in the evening. The pool is quite far from the terrace so the kids can play freely without the risk of falling into the pool in a second. It was just great and we didn’t have to worry about a thing the whole week. Taxi, really nice food, an amazing bbq, full fridge the whole week, excursions everything was possible upon request and well arranged. Also a great place to bring parents or in laws as they have a nice separate room with bathroom for them. We immediately booked two weeks for next year. Already looking forward to it! Tom and Penny, thanks so much for making us feel so welcome. We are completely re-energized and are looking forward to see you again next year!!!

You will definitely need a car to get around but the staff will help arrange everything as well as trips.
The place was always spotless and the high quality of food by penny the cook was awesome, I have never eaten so well and healthy,

Villa Bloom Bali is the best place to stay in Bali, since 9 years we used to come in Bali, this is the top one we booked so far. Management, staff, villa, site are all excellent.
our daughters (6 & 22) and son (18) enjoyed the villa with beautiful garden, large swimming pool, BBQ and confortable bedrooms. We rented three motorbikes and visited temples, jumped in waterfalls and went around to discover amazing landscapes.
From our booking till the departure we have had nothing to worry about, only pleasure. Our next time in Bali we will book again in Villa Bloom, no doubt.

We stayed Villa Bloom for almost a week and we totally loved it. We stayed with our family of 6: 3 adults and our boys of 6, 4 and 1 and there is something for everyone. The villa itself is very well designed and spacious. The garden is large and easily accessible with a large pool with slide that has a great view over the valley. There is a small football pitch that my boys loved as well. The staff is very well trained and attentive. They are great cooks and can really prepare everything you ask for. We also enjoyed a massage at the villa and there is a wide range of other things to do if you are done just relaxing, eg yoga and cooking classes. The beach is an easy10 min drive downhill (you can enjoy seaview from the villa as it’s nicely situated on a hill). The sea is calm and we tried the SUP boards successfully. We also went dolphin watching and hiking through the secret garden, all very well arranged by Penny, the villa manager. All and all a really lovely stay and highly recommended.
Truly beautiful house - wonderful crew - as if you stay at a friends great house that also left you a full fridge, a pool and a private chef... what's there more to ask for?

-All the preparations. No question was too much for Tom and Inge to serve us and to make it possible to facilitate a intimate silence retreat.

-The cook was incredible, she made the most tasteful Ayurvedic meals for us. We all wanted to take her home.

Stunning Villa, the cleanest and most beautifully situated we have ever experienced. The wide angle sea view in the front and mountain view in the back are breathtaking. We enjoyed the very large garden, multiple terraces and crystal clear pool. The 5 staff members are so friendly and helpful, with excellent cook, we loved all the healthy meals and the big BBQ in the garden was a super experience. We learned stand up paddle boarding on the complimentary villa boards. Our daughter enjoyed the toys, books, movies and games in the villa and we loved the massages and palm reading. This is a hidden gem!

With our family of 6, with 4 young children we spent 5 nights at Villa Bloom. The place is so relaxed, we only had to think about what we wanted to do each day, or just nothing and stay at the house around the pool. Penny and the rest of the staff were just wonderful, she cooked lovely Indonesian as well as Western dishes for us, and arranged the medium track (just perfect for our kids), an introduction lesson yoga and the dolphin tour. The house is perfect for kids as there are many toys. Our kids loved it after weeks with only some toys brought from home for our roundtrip. Furthermore they helped Penny in the kitchen which they really enjoyed! For others who may be interested in this place, just go and relax!

When we decided to head to Bali we were looking for something a little different, something a little “out there”, outside the usual list of central, crowded, loud and super-touristy locations, and we got just that. The villa is very nicely done. It is modern and pretty and very well equipped. The pool is terrific and the landscaping is beautiful. Great views of the North Bali Sea from every corner. The villa’s staff was always available. Very kind and extremely pleasant and accommodating - excellent hosts, always eager to satisfy our every need. Tom, the landlord, was super quick to respond to every request and question, with very pleasant, informative and helpful inputs. Through the villa’s staff we were able to book good tours and activities, and a great driver was just a call away when we needed/wanted to go anywhere. I would highly recommend Villa Bloom to anyone that’s interested in a quiet and relaxing time away, and who’s not looking to be in the centre of all the “usual” island hustle and bustle. Villa Bloom was all we needed! After 3 weeks traveling through Hong Kong and Java, we spend a couple of days with our kids (8,12 and 14) at Villa Bloom in Lovina. We had a great time! It was really a break, a 'mini-holiday' during our trip in Asia. We loved the healthy food, all the space we had, the environment and the peaceful atmosphere. Most of the time we spend at the pool, just relaxing. One day we went to the waterfalls. That was very exiting for the kids. We also played soccer in the garden. While our kids were helping the staff in the kitchen, we had a massage near the pool. It was the perfect place for us! Every day we enjoyed the delicious meals and fresh fruit juices, the clean rooms and the nice smell of the fresh sheets on the beds!
We did have the best time at Villa Bloom! It made us ready for another 2 weeks traveling at Bali!

Highlighted that one directly! All days during our stay we loved the environment. The ocean view and mountain views are stunning from every single step that you take in Villa Bloom. The infinity pool is an amazing place to relax and enjoy the Bali sun. In the morning I used as well the yoga deck. A good place to do an early morning work out.
In the house; Rooms are wide, clean, and the beds are super soft! The living room is open and has a great dining table to enjoy the delicious food at. There is a tv and a wide range of (kids) films to watch at night.
The complimentary breakfast is tasty! You can choose what you like to eat; from pancakes to scrambled egg. They also have an all vegan breakfast on request. I loved their home made granola, fresh fruit and lots of different healthy seeds (like chia seed). We also had a few times lunch and dinner in the villa. Really, don't eat outside, let instead Penny surprise you with her cooking skills. She made fresh vegan dishes during our stay! The miso soup and rice with urap were my favorites. There is also a barbecue area if you fancy an outside family meal.
Service from all staff members is wonderful. They are there when you need them, but they are never 'in the way'.
We travelled from Canggu to Lovina, it went really quick! Beautiful sight seeing on the way. And the villa was easy to find after clear instructions from the owners.
We definitely like to come back. Thanks to everybody for giving such good service, the owners before, during and even after our stay, the ladies and security in the house. You all made this stay to a big success. Terima kasih banyak!

We felt like royalty at Villa Bloom Bali.
My Boyfriend and I stayed in Villa Bloom Bali for a few nights during our trip across Indonesia.
Never have I ever felt more pampered than during our stay there.
The reason for this is the full-care concept: Once you arrive, a personable and friendly staff team is there to take care of your every wish. Be it groceries, transport, excursions, laundry or home cooked meals... the staff has got you covered. However, they always respected our privacy, and we still felt like it was a romatic getaway for two, even with the staff present on the grounds.
The villa manager is there to help organize your day (if you wish), and is not only very sweet, but an amazing chef to boot. I am a vegan, and this was taken into account; delicious vegan pancakes and tropical fruits for breakfast, and a cruelty-free and tasty meal in the evening. My boyfriend eats whatever, so the kitchen staff would prepare something extra for him. They would surprise him with an extra plate of sunny-side-up eggs in the morning, for example, exceeding his expectations.
The villa itself is gorgeous and very comfortable. We felt very at ease, and enjoyed our time at Bloom Bali immensely. We hope to go back someday!

“Relaxing Paradise”

I stayed at Villa Bloom for a very special Girls’ Getaway. Pulling up to Villa Bloom was breathtaking- from the house we saw a sweeping view of the lush green landscape that meeting the blue ocean. Even though there were 7 of us, 4 kids and 3 adults, we all fit very comfortably in the villa and the expansive yard and pool along with a large patio, soccer field, BBQ area gave our kids more than enough to do so we were truly able to relax at the house. The staff was exceptional and catered to our every need, including providing a delicious BBQ dinner and marshmallow roast for the kids. There was more to do in the area than we could get to, we especially enjoyed a hike to waterfalls with natural waterslides and plenty of rocks to jump off of. The hike was enjoyed by all, ranging from a 4-year-old to the adults. We also had a lovely afternoon at the beach, where the calm water was perfect for the kids. Tom and Inge were exceptional hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed for an exceptional getaway, and even helped us arrange to have a local palm reader come to the house. I would recommend Villa Bloom without hesitation!

I saw a lot of pictures and videos about the villa before I came to visit and must say that actually staying there exceeded my expectations. It is such a beautiful and divine place and it makes you feel relaxed and recharged at the same time. You have your own privacy and can enjoy a peaceful holiday without any stress as the staff looks after you and prepares lovely meals for you based on your dietary requirements. Next time I come to Bali, I will definitely visit Villa Bloom again, must say that I fell in love with that place. The villa itself is in a very good condition and very clean. Lovina is such an unspoilt part of the island and gives you an opportunity to experience the local culture and life of local people.

If you like tropical gardens, this is heaven!
I stayed in Villa Bloom with 2 of my children and grandchildren. We spent 6 days in the villa and we felt really spoilt by the delicious food, the breathtaking views, the large tropical garden and the warm, homely atmosphere. Every one of us (3 generations!) fully enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We were surprised by the very friendly staff. They served coffees and fresh juices at the pool, and they took such good care of my granddaughter with food allergies.
My family enjoyed all activities; my son loved stand up paddling at dawn, my daughter took a meditation class and for me the hike to the Aling-Aling waterfall and temple visits created very special memories.
My grandchildren really liked the overwhelming amount and quality of toys available at the villa.
Communication with the owners was very smooth including the pick up at the airport.
The hardest thing was to leave the villa. We made a reservation for next year already and counting the days until we are back.

I went to Villa Bloom with 2 friends and their children and it was honestly an amazing experience. The property was gorgeous with a swimming pool, grassy area for the kids to play and a magnificent view of Lovina. The ares is very safe and quiet. Tom and Inge were so helpful both before and during our trip. They explained how to get there, activities that we could do including hiking, private yoga, palm reader, etc. The Balinese staff at Villa Bloom were some of the most kind and helpful people I have met throughout my travels. We were greeted by Ibu Penny, who answered all our questions and cooked the most delicious food each and every meal. There are a lot of villas and hotels to stay in Bali, but Villa Bloom is the total package. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a truly wonderful holiday in Bali, for travelers wanting to sit and relax to those who want to venture out and explore. Thank you Inge and Tom ! What a most pleasant stay did we have at your place! A perfect location with a view that is impossible to describe but only to experience... The moment we walked into the villa I felt instantly relaxed. The quietness of the place in combination with the view feels a bit surrealistic but in a positive way!
We stayed for 4 days but it actually felt longer. That’s because it normally would take longer to get in this kind of relaxing mode. This place has the magic to give you that instant feeling.
Also the personal approach of the staff of the villa is more than fantastic. They give you a really warm welcome and make you feel comfortable during your stay. The cooking of Penny is one of the best I've tasted all over Bali and I think even on a larger scale. She asks what you prefer and makes it into something pure and special, pure cooking-art!
Also there are more than enough cool activities around Laguna beach to do. We choose to do a hike with some waterfall jumping. We actually went jumping of a 10m waterfall! I left the 15m jump for our next visit…
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
And important when being on a holiday; got a fully loaded personal battery when we left!

Villa Bloom has something for everyone; from yoga, reading a book , or getting your palm read for the adults, to exploring, playing football or swimming for the kids. From the moment we arrived at Villa Bloom we had all our needs meet by Penny and the amazing staff.
The food was delicious – we chose mostly Balinese or Indonesian food which I can highly recommend. We had a BBQ one night with lots of fresh, local fish.
The North of Bali has so many amazing places to explore and it was great to talk to Tom and Inge before we left as they gave us such great advice on the local area. We visited Aling Aling waterfalls which was very beautiful and the kids certainly enjoyed the adventure. We even got a palm reading on Inge's recommendation (the palm reader came even came to the villa!!)
Overall a fantastic 3 nights that we didn't want to end!!!

We “knew” this place from pictures on Facebook and because of the enthusiastic reactions from our family who were there a couple of years ago. But…………………………….arriving there: I was speechless and also the other family members. Each of us walked around to explore the house, the garden, the fantastic view and in particular: the atmosphere. It’s really difficult to give words to/express what it means to be there. Such a magnificent and wonderful place. Without lying: I was so silent and it touched me in my hart.
It took a while to “come back to earth”. The house is wonderful, but the views is really spectacular. It gives you a feeling from freedom, space, rest and what I think is the most important a special energy. You don’t need yoga to become “zen”. It’s the place that makes you feel so comfortable and peaceful.
Besides that: the team from Villa Bloom is really fantastic. Everything is clean every day, they do as much as they can to make you feel comfortable, to advice you and to pick you up when you get lost in Lovina Beach. During the day they are in and around the house most of the time, but the give you the feeling of freedom and let you feel comfortable.
And the next positive point is: the cook and manager Penny. The way she can cook is really amazing. She asks what you like and makes the most delicious meals. Everything has a real and natural taste and she can do this every meal: breakfast, lunch and diner. I will never forget here way of cooking.
This all together makes that we had a more than wonderful stay at a more than wonderful and amazing place

We are a family with 3 young children and booked All-inclusive with transport and had a customized holiday package designed. Pure relaxation from the minute we arrived. Penny's food is fresh and nutritious and the kids loved it as well! Iluh and Ketut light up your day while they take care of the house and your laundry. Villa Bloom Bali is filled with positive energy, the staff, the house, surrounding nature. Practicing yoga, meditation, enjoying a massage and palm reading where truly special moments. We also loved our days out with driver Gede, he is joyful and helpful. And we just loved the secret garden hike with waterfalls combined with late afternoon massages by the pool and a sunset BBQ. The owners Inge and Tom did a great job in preparing our stay and also kept checking in while we were there. We will return for sure! Thanks for creating this magical place.

It really is in one of the most beautiful spots on the island with the mountain and seas views and the air is perfect; not too hot but just the right breeze to keep cool. There was lots of toys for our children to play with which they loved and a fantastic team that knew how to look after us and our children. Wifi speed was good enough for calls back home when I needed to work at night. The sense of calm and peace around the place sets it apart and the quality is noticable from the excellent massages (best I had on the island for a month) to the freshley ironed pool towels as examples of how they look after this place. Listening each night to the sounds of the birds and the chickens and dinner outside or at the BBQ area; it was really a perfect spot to enjoy time with your family, you really don’t need to leave! Even our 7 year old enjoyed the yoga and meditation and our 18 month old loved the pool that was cleaned every day. We loved having breakfast, lunch and dinner made for us and being able to choose what we wanted to eat (there is even a Jamie Oliver book to have something from home!). Its a real gift they gave their wonderful home to others to share and would not hesitate to stay. Hire a motorbike from the villa; drive it up into the moutains (turn left and keep going up!) and you won't regret one of the nicest rides around the beautiful, well-kept roads. If you go, I'm sure you'll enjoy the magic of this place as much as we did.

My wife and I explored Bali for 40 days.. we came to villa Bloom Bali for the last part of our trip.. we apparently saved the best for last.. for us, it was our favorite.. because of how quiet and peaceful it was... The house was great, practical, easy to use, Air connditioning was awesome... The servants were a joy.. the grounds, neighboring farms and view beautiful... We loved it... Off the beaten path... In an old Bali style setting but with a Westerners house design.. which I assure you is a very good thing... Thanks for such a great time...

Every one of my friends and I found the place absolutely amazing! The photos do the place no justice; the spacious and beautiful villa was accompanied by a priceless ocean and forestry view (perfect for sunrise!) and easily some of the warmest and most welcoming staff we have ever met. Having stayed 2 nights there, it was difficult to drag ourselves away from the place. The BBQ was lovely and the dinner the day after was simply perfect! A wonderful place to stay and is most certainly number 1 on my list if I ever have to visit Lovina with friends again!

It is heavenly! Even better than the pictures. The villa has a spacious, light airy feel, filled with the warmness of the staff and the stunning sunsets. Thoughtfully decorated, this is a place to rejuvenate the soul. NB: apart from one step up onto the veranda, the building is all on one level, which we considered great for guests that also maybe less mobile.
The staff can't do enough for you. They are available, but, not intrusive. They are warm and bring real heart to the place. Penny, the chef, has great English & cooks like a queen! Everything was EASY.
The property aspect means you can sit and watch the sunrise & set. It has the perfect mix of quiet & communal areas. Oh and the pool....
There are some very good links to local spiritual guides, which I would definitely recommend.
Completely quiet, surrounded by nature, plenty of space for children to run free. We left rejuvenated and ready for the world again. Very grateful for our time & we will be back.

We visited Villa Bloom with friends and 3 children and enjoyed every minute of it.
The first thing that strikes you is the awesome view over the ocean and the beautiful grounds with rice paddies around.
The House is very stylish designed, well maintained and super clean. The staff are so wonderful they made that beautiful place even more wonderful. The cook Penny prepared delicious food and we had great BBQs in the evenings. Our kids had such fun in the pool and garden all day playing that they never wanted to leave the villa to go to the beach. I have stayed in a few places in Bali, but this was my favorite. I'm already trying to plan how to go back.

We thought the villa would be nice from the pictures and description but as soon as we arrived we realised we had been very lucky to find it. The place is really beautiful and the views are truly amazing. The villa is very well designed, stylishly done and worked out really well for our family of 4 (kids 1 and 3).
It was wonderful to have the help of Penny, the cook and manager of the villa. She cooked delicious and varied food that our whole family loved. She also helped out with kids during the day and with babysitting in the evenings - and she's lovely.
Lovina's a great place with lots to do and there are plenty of easy day trips to hills, lakes and beaches.

Tja terug uit Bali na een heerlijke vakantie met zo veel herinneringen! Villa Bloom staat bovenaan. Wat een heerlijke plek. Het verblijf paste fantastisch in onze verder drukke en heel leuke reis / vakantie in Bali. Even een paar dagen rust en genieten met het gezin. Waarbij we ook hele leuke en spannende uitstapjes hebben gemaakt naar o.a. mooie watervallen en een hele leuke leerzame nature track. Je loopt daarbij letterlijk door piepkleine dorpjes en ziet de mensen op hoge ladders kruidnagelen plukken.
Villa Bloom is gewoon een droom. Je komt aan en het vriendelijke personeel staat je op te wachten. Een hele mooie, smaakvolle locatie met uitzicht over de zee, de rijstvelden en de jungle. Waar vind je dat?
Verzorgende BBQ s' avonds, heerlijk ontbijt 's ochtends, diner naar keuze wordt verzorgd en je geeft zelf aan wat je favoriete gerechten zijn

Villa Bloom is like heaven on earth. In this beautiful villa with a fantastic view, you can escape and have a top personal treatment. Even after one weekend, we felt like reborn. All thanks to Inge and Tom, who are first class hosts, and their adorable kids, but also thanks to Penny, who is a superb cook. In Villa Bloom, you can eat delicious but very healthy and varied at the same time, from an extensive breakfast in the morning until a delicious barbecue in the beautiful garden at sunset. You can hike in the surrounding rice fields, and when you come back, you jump into the pool to refresh. In the meantime, there is already a massagist waiting for you for a divine massage under the trees next to the pool. Villa Bloom is a true home away from home. We had a family reunion a couple of months ago where my grandmother, mother and I were able to spend some quality time together with my children. It was a truly special time. Villa Bloom was the perfect setting. The kids were catered for, and so were we to a very high standard. The cook and housekeeper Penny looked after our every need from drinks to special meal requests and she even helped us with the kids when we wanted to relax. We enjoyed massages and pampering which were provided by Villa Bloom at a reasonable charge. The pool got a workout! All 4 generations spent lots of time in the water overlooking a stunning view. Alas on the last night we were going to have a BBQ but it rained! So Penny and her helpers cooked everything inside. It was still a very special last meal. We had an unfortunate odour in one of the rooms, but this was quickly seen to by the staff and we were given a personal apology by the owners which we felt was exceptionally generous. All in all, a gorgeous location and fabulous service on every level. Thanks Villa Bloom for a memorable holiday.

Our stay was too short! We stayed in this luxurious family villa called Villa Bloom and absolutely loved it. Our daughter liked the big pool and the slide into the pool and all the toys that the villa provides. The staff was very attentive and kept the house super clean and tidy. The cook Penny made us a big BBQ in the middle of the garden with fresh tuna and other tasteful dishes. For the other meals she made any dish that we asked for. The breakfasts were very complete with bread, homemade yoghurt, homemade granola, pancakes, fruit, coffee, tea. During the day we got fruit juices, vegetable juices, coffees, tea and healthy snacks, that was all included. Villa Bloom is only a short ride from Lovina (and Singaraja) and we did a dolphin watching trip in the early morning and snorkeling at the Lovina reef. We have seen a nearby waterfall and made a trekking. Villa Bloom has a huge tropical garden and wide sea views. The villa was really luxurious with excellent staff service. It was the best place we have stayed in Bali. The stay was definitely too short.

We were 4 adults with 3 children aged under 5 and we all had a blast at Bloom Villa. My cousins are from Australia and my family comes from Jakarta. The villa was definitely the highlight of our stay, it is big, clean, bright, modern, beds are comfy, every facility is working properly, the view is amazing, the pool is great for adults and children, the garden is beautiful and big, it even has a small soccer goal. Wifi connection is pretty good, sufficient for "face time". The villa was supported with 3 staffs that do not live on site. The cook worked from 9 am until 7 pm, often stayed later to clean up. She was more of the person in-charge. She was off one day a week and usually it falls on a Sunday. We had arrived on a Saturday but she had kindly shifted her day off to Monday to make sure we were more settled. There is a security guard that comes every night at 8 pm and leaves at 6 am. From time to time we saw the gardener. Laundry service was done outside, but it was good and cheap. The host has made a "guest guide book" that we found very useful to make our stay more enjoyable. The second highlight of our stay was the cook - Penny. She is friendly, smiley and always happy to help out, her cooking is amazing and she speaks fluent English which makes it much easier if you don’t speak Bahasa. We would tell her the day before what we’d like for lunch/dinner and she would buy all the groceries (and provide us with all the bills) then cook up a storm - a variety of dishes. I surely put on a few kilos by eating all her yummy meals! Since Penny was off one day in a week, so it was our time to eat out. Went to a couple of restaurants in Lovina but they were nothing compare to Penny’s cooking. We ended up eating in for lunch and dinner most of the time. Thank you again so much, dear Penny. The place is perfect for children. We were provided with all the facilities we needed for them (portacot, high chair, plastic cutlery, bowls and glasses…) and there are great toys to entertain them (wooden ones which we appreciated as we try to avoid plastic toys in our own house). The kids were so much entertained that we didn’t have to switch on the tv once! The pool is about 20 meters away from the house which makes it safe and prevents children from going into the pool without any surveillance.

Inge and Tom were very helpful with our questions prior to arrival and gave us some great advice on what to see and do in the area with two young kids in tow. Please do not miss out on Manjangan Island! It was the highlight of our Bali holiday. Penny and the rest of the team at Villa Bloom made us feel very welcome and comfortable there. The food was delicious and the breakfast so filling and healthy! They were very accommodating of my daughter's allergies and Penny so kindly let my daughter help her cook dinner one night. My daughter really enjoyed her cooking lesson! The villa and the staff are very kid friendly, so it felt great to let the kids really enjoy themselves there. There were lots of toys there and the pool had a slide they really enjoyed. There's also nice soft grass for them to run around on. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend this place to families without hesitation.

Don't search further, as this is the best place you will find on Bali! We stayed at this great place twice during our Bali holiday. We first stayed at villa Bloom in our second week. As it is so amazing here, we booked again for the last days of our trip. We returned back to villa bloom after a week in canggu and ubud. Our children didn't stop talking about going back to villa Bloom and my youngest one adores Penny. We all were so happy to be back at this marvelous place. Everything was again perfect and so relaxed. At home we are all busy with daily life, work-eat-sleep and rush rush. Here at villa bloom is the opposite. There is some magical dust in the air as you feel relaxed and start thinking about the important things in life, you have nice conversations with the children and long chats with my husband. We spent all day in the pool and watching lizards, butterflies, birds and frogs in the garden. the beautiful flowers and the great view. Penny, Ilu and Ketut spoilt us with their great cooking skills. It's so lovely to have them around. They are always smiling, interact very well with our children. Are very nice to talk to and keep the villa, garden and pool area spotless. Nothing is to much to ask for them. We only stayed 2 nights this time, as villa bloom was already booked the days after. But we will come back again for sure it was the best place to be, to spent time as a family in this zen enviroment. The children are already begging to go back. Traveling to Bali every year, it was time for us to explore Balis beautiful north. Staying at Villa Bloom was the best decision we could have made! This incredible Villa has it all: Most amazing Views, surrounded by wild Jungle, huge Garden area, BBQ, Infinity Pool and high class furniture. You can see that this gem belongs to Europeans who are taking very good care about everything. The place is hidden up on the hills which makes it the perfect place to relax. The staff is very friendly and is trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Even though there is lots to explore in this area, we were staying at the Villa most of the time. WOW WOW WOW! This villa is in spectacular location up in the hills looking out over Lovina and the northern coastline of Bali. It was about a 3 hour drive from Canggu and we stopped in Bedugul for a rest. The design of the villa has been carefully considered to capture the views, sunrises and sunsets. The staff at the villa were nothing short of miracle workers. The food they prepared for our family were delicious and healthy; I've never seen the kids eat with such exuberance "These pancakes are better than yours Mummy" ouch. The selection of toys were enjoyed by the kids also, leaving us to relax and read our books. Its worth mentioning there is a creative energy to the place that led my wife and I to think clearly and overcome recent obstacles with our business. The Internet was good too given how remote it is. We had a couple of smooth Skype calls to the UK. Be sure to get a massage, see the palm reader (!), and try out a superb BBQ dinner. A highly recommended experience.

What can we say besides that it was exactly how we dreamt it would be. Host and staff were so welcoming and helpful. My husband enjoyed the daily yoga lessons Inge organised for him and he found the perfect spot for sunrise. Our girls loved playing and helping in the garden, they love and were loved by the staff from gardener to driver and maids. Having a personal chef on site like Penny was my treat for the holiday. She catered well for our youngest child with food allergies and she spoilt us with smoothies, banana pancakes, BBQs and most delicious dinners. I loved going to the market with her and talk about all the different foods available. Inge and Tom made the extra effort to organise special allergy food for us as well. There are a few things to do around Lovina, but we loved our home away from home so much, that we stayed most of the time there. Whatever you needed you just tell Penny - she organised a scooter, driver, etc. Our favourite spots were the pool (we were concerned about our 2y old and no fence, but the pool is located two levels down and with staff on site you can always ask them to keep an eye on them too) and the daybed to either relax and enjoy the scenery or watch a movie. We'll definitely be back and can only highly recommend Villa Bloom to anyone who is looking for a bit of paradise on earth.

We are a family of five (kids aged 12, 10 and 7) who stayed at Villa Bloom for six nights. The first morning our seven-year-old son woke up and said, “ Wow, it’s really beautiful here.” The villa is breathtaking and everything that the photos depict, offering serenity and seclusion but only a short drive to Lovina. We suggest hiring a car to make the most of your stay here. One of Villa Bloom’s greatest assets is the wonderful staff of five people who helped make our stay a memorable one. Penny oversees the villa and cooks great meals, which we prearranged with her the day before. Daily breakfasts and dinners were a highlight with a choice of Indonesian, Indian and Western food… whatever you want within reason. Ilu and Ketut assisted Penny with all the household tasks and the villa was always immaculate: our rooms were turned down beautifully every day; laundry was done on site whenever required and refreshments were available too. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. We felt very welcome. Putu, Penny’s husband, maintains the lovely garden and pool. He was always on hand if we needed assistance. There is also a security guard on site from about 8 pm to 8 am until other staff arrive for the day. From the moment we booked, Inge connected with us to assist with our itinerary. She sent us information ahead of time to work out what we wanted to do. She arranged with Penny for a driver to pick us up from Seminyak and drop us back to Nusa Dua at the start and finish of our stay. On our arrival, Penny had organised for our hire car to be at the villa. She had also pre-booked an early-morning dolphin watching cruise/snorkelling and a waterfall trek, both of which we recommend. As a family we wanted to recharge and also explore - our reasons for coming to North Bali. We also visited Lovina's inflatable water park, the local hot springs and Pemuteran for more snorkelling. Inge and Tom have compiled an information book at the villa so that you can maximise your time here. They have been excellent hosts and were in touch with us throughout our stay - the wifi was great. We’re going to miss the early-morning swims, meditation, amazing sunrises and sunsets and such a relaxing special place. Thank you Inge and Tom for sharing it with us.

Dear Inge, It is hard to top all the positive reviews I read before coming, but still feel that I need to add another one! We had a great time: We arrived at Villa Bloom with our 2 children of 10 and 3 years old, and granddad after a week in Sanur. Before we arrived all communication with Inge went smooth and she sent a lot of info beforehand. On our arrival we were welcomed by the broad smiles of staff Ilu and Ketut. The villa's view is simply breathtaking; even during the occasional thunderstorm we could not stop admiring the view. The bedrooms and bathrooms are perfectly sized with very comfy beds, sheets and also the wardrobes are clean and easy to stack your clothes. The design of the house, the garden and all furniture is beautiful. We didn't want to leave the villa at all, as it was such a great atmosphere and relaxed time. We had Yoga sessions from Yvonne a dutch Yoga teacher, great massages and an impressive balinese healing massage. We really recommend booking some of this: top quality massages (and we know!) and so good to do the sessions in the open air at the terrace near the pool with the sounds of birds and the little stream running below. We loved the swimming pool area. But above all Penny, Ilu, Ketut, Nelly and gardener Putu get a lot of credits as they made our stay phenomenal. All the meals they prepared were amazing. We asked for Indonesian lunches and dinners. Just told Penny whether we wanted meat or fish and great dishes where made. We all loved the soto ayam, tempeh, sajour veggies, beef rendang and the balinese chicken. The home made sambal is very good. The bbq dinner is also mouth watering. The breakfast with home made yoghurt and granola is a great way to start the day. The villa and garden are spotless and kept very well. We travel a lot and rarely see this level of attention to detail; people this is how it is done! Our 3 year old son loved Nelly (Penny's daughter) and Penny. He often preferred to stay and play with them instead of joining us in the pool... After our first afternoon we immediately regretted not booking for longer than our 4 nights. We already booked accomodation in canggu and ubud after these 4 nights, but the last leg of our stay in Bali was still open. So we booked again for 2 nights for next week. The villa, the views, the staff are in one word amazing! We hope to be back soon during our next holiday.

Unser Urlaub in der Villa Bloom war einfach fantastisch. Die Villa war traumhaft schoen mit Pool mitten in den Reisfeldern und einer tollen Aussicht ueber das Meer. Der perfekte Ort, um zu entspannen und sich verwoehnen zu lassen in einem sehr, sehr schoenen Ambiente mit sehr gutem und, wenn gewuenscht, gesundem Essen. Auch unser 3 Kinder (7, 5 und 4 Jahre) haben den Urlaub in der Villa Bloom geliebt. Der Pool war fuer uns und die Kinder toll, sogar mit kleiner Rutsche fuer die Kinder. Wenn es einmal draussen zu heiss war, haben unser Kinder genuegend Spielzeug ( Lego und andere Spiele) in der Villa gefunden, mit dem sie spielen konnten, sodass man nicht selbst das ganze Spielzeug im Koffer von zu Hause mitnehmen muss. Auch haben unsere Jungs im Garten oft Fussball gespielt. So wurde den Kindern nie langweilig. Inge und Tom sind unglaublich freundliche, engagierte und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Wenn wir noch ein paar Fragen zu Ausfluegen etc. hatten, haben sie uns sofort zurueckgeschrieben und tolle Tipps gegeben. Es war alles perfekt organisiert, von der Anreise, ueber den Aufenthalt in der Villa bis zur Abreise. Inge hatte einen sehr netten Fahrer organisiert, der uns abgeholt hat, uns waehrend unseres Aufenthaltes zu unseren Ausflugszielen gefahren und uns am Ende unseres Urlaubs in den Sueden gefahren hat. Penny und ihr Team in der Villa, die sich den gesamten Tag um uns gekuemmert haben, waren sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit und haben unsere Touren organisiert. Penny hat unglaublich gut gekocht. Jeden Morgen haben wir uns auf unser Fruestueck gefreut. Zwischen den Mahlzeiten gab es leckeres Obst, Smoothies und ausgezeichneten Kaffee. Auch haben wir einen tollen Kochkurs bei Penny gemacht und sie hat uns ein paar leckere asiatische Gerichte beigebracht. Wir hatten jeden Tag sehr gute Massagen in de Villa, mal am Pool, mal in der Villa. Unser 3 Kinder haben ihre Massagen ebenfalls sehr genossen. Auch haben wir unsere Yogastunden am Pool sehr genossen. Auch unsere Ausfluege zu den Delphinen, zu den Wasserfaellen sowie zu der Schildkroetenstation waren sehr schoen. Alles in allem war es unser schoenster Urlaub seit Jahren und das liegt in allererster Linie an den tollen Gastgebern Inge und Tom sowie Penny und ihrem Team. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Bali kommen weden, werden wir nochmals zu dieser Traumvilla zurueckkehren. Vielen Dank an Inge und Tom sowie Penny und ihr Team. Ihr wart fantastisch! Een absolute aanrader! Wij hebben een fantastisch tijd gehad in deze prachtige villa. Inge had vooraf gevraagd welke boodschappen er gedaan moesten worden en had op aanvraag van ons 2 scooters klaar gezet. Communicatie vooraf met Inge was erg goed. Tevens ons laten ophalen van de airport...alles wat tot in de puntjes top geregeld! Het huis is zeer ruim en schoon en wordt goed onderhouden. De tuin, zwembad en zitjes zijn mooi opgezet met een fantastisch uitzicht en alles wordt iedere dag goed onderhouden! Penny zorgt voor alle dagelijkse taken en haar kookkunsten zijn van een heel hoog niveau! Elke avond heeft Penny meerdere gerechten voor ons gekookt en hebben we bij de vila op de veranda gegeten. Ook kun je bij haar terecht voor alle vragen en voor het boeken van transport, tochten, boottickets, enz. Lovina is een rustige relaxte plek waar je het echte Bali kan ontdekken met dus heel veel locals en voor in augustus zeer weinig toeristen. Vanaf de villa ben je in enkele minuten rijden beneden aan de "hoofdweg" waar vele locale shops, voor boodschapjes en bv. benzine, aanwezig zijn...het strand en de eerste restaurants bevinden in zo'n 12 à 15 minuten rijden. Wij zouden het huren van een scooter dan ook zeker aanraden om alles te zelf te kunnen ontdekken....tevens kan de chauffeur je ook overal brengen maar dan ben je weer afhankelijk en niet zo vrij. Verder kunnen we de dolfijnen tocht vroeg in de ochtend, de monkey forest, twin lakes en natuurlijk de rijstvelden aanraden. Wij denken dat er in deze prijsklasse geen mooiere locatie te vinden is.

Wow!!! Absolutely beautiful! We spent 3 wonderful nights in Villa Bloom and were spoilt rotten by not only the location and views, but by the beautiful staff. Penny and the other Villa staff were wonderful and very attentive. Our family of 6 (my wife and I and 4 boys) eagerly looked forward to our breakfast and dinner every day prepared by Penny. She is the best cook in North Bali (probably all of Bali)!! Her range and quality of recipes was amazing. We will be back again for sure. Our boys did not stop, whether playing in the pool, in the cubby house, the soccer area or parkour around the villa grounds. We also loved the book of helpful ideas provided by the owners for suggestions of activities around the surrounding area. The photos do not do this magnificent villa justice. It was immaculately clean, the pool was the perfect temperature. The views were spectacular. Penny made us feel welcome and organised everything we wanted. Her cooking was fantastic. If you stay here make sure you ask Inge or Penny to organise a hire car for you. It isn't walking distance to anywhere. Also bring mosquito coils and insect repellant. The open living means lots of flies & mozzies due to the vicinity of farm land. This is one of the most stunning places I have ever seen. I will definitely be back for longer next time. 3 nights was not enough.

We wanted to explore more of Bali besides Canggu and Ubud so we decided to take a look at the other parts of the island. Lovina was one of those places we would love to visit. When we started our search, we found villa Bloom. We were so surprised by its size that we decided to stay 3 days to really enjoy the view and the calmness. When we arrived at Villa Bloom we were greeted by the staff. Penny made us a welcome drink and a banana muffin. This was exactly what we needed after the 2-hour drive from Canggu. We got a property tour and settled in. The villa lies on a hill top overlooking the coastal area of Lovina. It is very private and secluded what gives you a place to unwind and relax. Our last night we had some friends over for a BBQ. Penny and her team went all out for the BBQ. We had an amazing time talking at the BBQ area. Since I’m a vegetarian Penny made sure we had enough veggies and vegetarian options. The best part of our stay was definitely the view and the pool. We made some good memories and will definitely recommend the villa to our family and friends who want to visit another side of Bali!
